CHANGE COMES IN ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT SHAPES AND SIZE AND CAN HAPPEN AT MULTIPLE LEVELS WITHIN AN ORGANIZATION
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE HAS AN IMPACT ON GROUPS, BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS, AND WITHIN INDIVIDUALS
The first and most important element of change is that it’s inevitable. There’s no avoiding it or getting around it. Even if you somehow managed to keep all things static within your departments, your end-users change, your environments change, and your circumstances change. All the while, you are changing and the people you manage are changing. So, whether you are actively in the process of leading intentional change or not, it is inevitable.
The main focus of this workshop is to understand the change management process and identify clear steps for effectively leading change initiatives within organizations. Participants come away with an action plan for navigating the world of continual change, and an understanding of how their team’s strengths and weaknesses impact progress.
Objectives of the Leading with Emotional Intelligence workshop include:
- Understand how change impacts you personally and how others may respond to it
- Obtain tools and review a process for facilitating and leading organizational change initiatives
- Identify common organizational barriers and learn ways to overcome them and navigate cultural norms
- Link necessary change to successful outcomes in order to lead others through transition
